Homework: In your journal do the following writing
exercise:
1) Picture an apple in your mind’s eye and write down all the symbolic meanings you can think of involving an apple.
2) Think about your own life and experiences and write down at least one personal symbolic meaning or experience involving an apple.
3) Think about extensions of an apple—for example apple pie, saying “You’re the apple of my eye”, Apple Computer or giving someone an apple and write down what these various symbols mean to you.
